Physics, not cartoons
LAO/RAO and cranial/caudal rotate a real 3D model. Foreshortening, overlap, where the spine sits, when the diaphragm encroaches — all consequences of geometry, exactly as in the room.

A cine run that behaves like the real thing: a beating 3D coronary tree projected through a true C-arm, contrast that arrives in diastole, TIMI flow you can frame-count, lesions that hide in one view and declare themselves in the next. Teaching inside every frame — from your first spider view to SYNTAX scoring and culprit calls.
LAO/RAO and cranial/caudal rotate a real 3D model. Foreshortening, overlap, where the spine sits, when the diaphragm encroaches — all consequences of geometry, exactly as in the room.
Contrast transport is simulated vessel by vessel. Corrected TIMI frame counts, TIMI 0–3, myocardial blush and Rentrop collateral filling all come from the simulation, so what you count is what is true.
Eccentric plaques that look mild in one view, calcified tram-tracks, thrombus filling defects, dissection flaps with contrast staining, bridges that milk in systole, spasm that melts with nitrates.
Damping and ventricularisation appear on the hemodynamic trace when the catheter sits in an ostial lesion, with the ECG changing in the STEMI cases.
The Film Room uses expert-annotated public-domain angiograms (ARCADE, CC0) for segment naming and lesion spotting drills on genuine images.
SYNTAX scoring with per-lesion breakdown, Medina, ACC/AHA, NHLBI dissection and Ellis perforation classes, J-CTO features and structured reporting.

Seven tiers. Each level drops you into the lab with a task; the frame, the monitor and the truth are all simulated, so you get judged against physiology, not an answer key someone typed.
Film room · real angiograms
Genuine X-ray coronary angiography frames from the public-domain ARCADE dataset, labelled by interventional cardiologists with SYNTAX segments and stenoses. No simulation here — only the overlays are ours.
Source: ARCADE (Popov et al., Scientific Data 2024), CC0 1.0. Expert polygon labels; segment numbering per SYNTAX. Frames are single stills, so flow cannot be judged here.
